Core Values

  • Clear and Responsive Communication

Positive communication builds trust and understanding. Listening to your needs, and offering honest, impartial advice is paramount to provide and deliver the service you require.

  • Factual, Objective Reports

Where possible subjective opinion is turned into objective fact by carrying out extensive testing during a survey.

Testing delivers objective, quantifiable results. It is then the job of the surveyor to consider how these results relate to the condition of the item tested, and how that relates to the vessel as a whole.

  • Expanding Knowledge

Continued professional development is of the highest priority.

This ensures that the surveyor is concurrent with modern trends and practices of the boat building and marine industry.

Further education eliminates the chance of complacency and ignorance, and results in improved service for you, the client, who deserves the highest standards.

Please see the Testimonials section, or the Google Business Account for what previous clients have had to say about their experience of doing business with Theo Wakefield Marine Surveys.

  • The Environment

With belching diesel engines and everlasting fibre interwoven plastics, the marine industry is not particularly green or clean.

Consideration is always given to how to carry out day to day business completing marine surveys or undertaking consultation in the most environmentally friendly way as far as practicable, and advice is offered to clients where applicable to minimise environmental impacts.

A keen eye is kept on green developments in the industry such as biodegradable resins and oils, renewable energy and filtration.
